Business of Design

The Business of Design conference, which ran from 2014-2017 in Cape Town and Johannesburg, was the first of its kind, stimulating the design industry in South Africa by supporting creative entrepreneurial enterprises. Together with Trevyn and Julian McGowan of The Guild Group, we created this platform to provide small-to-medium businesses the opportunity to hear from industry experts and design professionals in a bi-annual two-day talks programme. Besides the informative presentations and creative-business-related conversations, delegates were able to network with one another and with speakers, thus growing and unifying the industry.
