100 Beautiful Things
100 Beautiful Things, created in partnership with the V&A Waterfront, was a celebration of South Africa’s creativity, compassion, ingenuity and resilience. The featured projects, products, ideas and experiences enhanced the Waterfront’s values of championing the arts and supporting entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability. This good-news initiative, launched during the Covid-19 lockdown, supported small enterprises by introducing them to a wider audience, while inspiring the country during a difficult time. It was made up of 100 stories published over 20 weeks across social media channels and on a dedicated website, and an installation at the Waterfront that supported young local artists and illustrators by commissioning them for the exhibition artwork.
