Young Gauteng

Young Gauteng placed the spotlight on 10 young, creative talents from the province, who showed great promise for contributing to the future design narrative in South Africa. By giving them a free platform at 100% Design South Africa 2018 and 2019, they were catapulted into the public eye, gaining instant recognition and a commercial boost. This exhibition, curated by Platform and presented in association with Gauteng Tourism Authority, supported and encouraged emerging local creatives, thus aligning with the vision of 100% Design South Africa to grow the country’s design industry.
