ilali

Ilali is a property-developer specialising in student accommodation. For its proposal to the University of Cape Town, for a new system of student housing, it required an innovative, out-of-the-box approach. Its two developments needed to ensure student safety while being socially engaging. Platform’s extensive research and on-the-ground investigation led to a proposal that included modern, interactive spaces for learning and co-curricular activities, and a programme of activities that would stimulate cultural and community engagement. The proposal included the development of a Modernist African logo and visual identity.
