Africa’s most prestigious design trade exhibition was curated by Platform from 2014 to 2019, to grow the burgeoning South African design industry for commercial success. The show received the ROAR Award from the Association of African Exhibition Organisers for Best Trade and Consumer Exhibition in 2016 and 2017 and for Best Social Media in 2017. Ground-breaking feature exhibitions and collaborative partnerships with the industry helped shape and build a connected design community for the country, while introducing new audiences to local design studios and creating a stronger consciousness of South African design.
