What is happening now and where, is what makes us tick. So when in Marrakech we went not just to the Medina but to the city’s industrial zone; a hive of artisans and galleries and then on to one of the best contemporary design stores in Africa - 33 Rue Marjorelles. Discovering the finesse of traditional Moroccan craftsmanship with modern aesthetic styling led us to uncover: recycled rubber hand bags, fabric and furniture; sensual perfumes; carved lemonwood utensils; cushions made from recycled fishing nets; contemporary art and graphic design and finely detailed luxury textiles.
