Moped City

Hamed Ouattara, Burkina Faso 

Ouagadougou is a city of thousands of mopeds and scooters. And the evening rush hour is a frenetic buzz of activity as shops and cafes open for the passing trade. On photographing the work of furniture maker Hamed Ouattara we took his furniture out to his neighbouring businesses to capture the spirit of his raw, recycled metal pieces in the environment from which they were born.
